Out of the pandemic emerges stories of hope and kindness across the community.

The Kindness Map project emerged during the COVID-19 pandemic to celebrate real stories of kindness that surfaced during a difficult time. Each illustrated location represents a true act shared within the Kindness Pandemic Facebook group, spanning across Victoria, Australia, and showing that kindness can be found everywhere.

The project extended into a series of illustrated coasters designed for local cafés, each highlighting an individual story to help attract customers and support the post-pandemic recovery of Victoria’s hospitality industry. The work was recognised with an AGDA Student Craft Merit and was a finalist in the Taiwan International Student Design Competition (Top 4% of 18,000+ entries).
